The ski area of Tignes-Val d'Isere (formerly Espace Killy) prides itself as "le plus bel espace de ski du monde", which means "the most beautiful ski area in the world". For sure it is one of the best ski areas in the world, with endless and well prepared ski slopes for all kind of skiers. There are ultra wide ski pistes, high alpine ski slopes at the glacier Grande Motte, FIS downhill slopes to Val d'Isere La Daille and village runs to the villages beneath Tignes. Great skiing because of the reliable snow conditions; you can ski from November till May.
