A Three Valleys resort at the entry of the Meribel Valley & even more. Brides-les-Bains is situated at only 6 km from the Eurostar and TGV station of Moutiers. Since the Winter Olympics of Albertville in 1992 -Brides has lodged the athletes of several sports- the former spa resort got known as an international ski resort, too, thanks to the 6 seater cable car Olympe. This connects Brides-les-Bains to Meribel. In Brides you find a wide range of touristic facilities, such as a supermarket, several traditional restaurants and after ski pubs, the casino (Black Jack, Roulette etc.), shops and ski rental and of course the great spa and health center with swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, hammam steam bath, massages and other kinds of medical treatments. One extra advantage are the interesting prices for accomodation and restaurants in Brides, compared to Meribel or Courchevel. You live in a cosy traditional mountain village with 600 inhabitants and you can easily discover the famous ski areas of Meribel, Courchevel, Les Menuires and Val Thorens. Also Champagny as part of Paradiski is at only 20 minutes by car; there you can enter the unique Vanoise National Park.
