We stayed at Chalet Marguerite with a group of 10 people. The highlights were the good layout of the rooms, the solid basic facilities and the fantastic outdoor jacuzzi.
Unfortunately, there were significant deductions in terms of technology: with 10 people, it was difficult as no more than two people could take a hot shower at the same time in the two showers (even though there was one shower per bedroom, making a total of five). Furthermore, some showers did not work properly (e.g. switching between the hand-held and rain shower heads), the kitchen lighting under the wall units was faulty, and the freezer did not cool below 0 degrees. Overall, a lovely stay, but marred by the lack of maintenance.

The house was lovely and fully equipped; the bathrooms were new and very nice. Large table in the middle and the jacuzzi was 40 degrees. Simply fantastic. The location wasn’t great for skiing. The ski bus mentioned in the description was just a regular public bus that ran at long intervals and wasn’t included in the ski pass. Getting back was virtually impossible. We had to arrange to be picked up. It wasn’t possible to ski back to the house, even though there was plenty of snow. We then got in the car the next morning and drove to the car park (free of charge). As for information in the house, I would have liked a folder with details. Information on bus timetables; rubbish disposal; Wi-Fi etc. A snow shovel on arrival would also have been helpful as there was 40 cm of fresh snow overnight.
