Distance to ski area 4 Vallées ~500 m. Chalet Maria is a spacious and comfortable chalet with six bedrooms and five bathrooms. It is located near the cable car and ski slope (approx. 500 m), that gives you connections to Verbier. The chalet has a sauna, open fire place and free WiFi. The spacious design and the high quality interior offer good comfort - cozy living room with access to the surrounding balcony. Three of the bedrooms have their en-suite bathrooms, the other three bedrooms are sharing two bathrooms. Chalet Maria is only approx. 150 m from the resort centre away, so all amenities are right on your doorstep (100 - 350 m away): Supermarket, with bakery and butcher, restaurants, aprés ski bars/cafés, child care facility, bank, ski school, ice skating rink and indoor swimming pool.

In summer, La Tzoumaz offers plenty of possibilities like hiking, mountain biking, swimming, climbing, tennis, golf (in Verbier) or fishing. There is a ‚trail of senses‘ (altitude 1,700 m) with 12 ‚sense stations‘ as well as a an exhibition of the local flora and fauna. Relaxing walks for example along the typical valaisian waterways. The Bisse du Saxon from La Tzoumaz via Nendaz to Vercorin offers 150 km of gently inclined paths suitable for mountain biking and pleasant walks. Interesting trips due to its location in the border triangle of Switzerland, Italy and France – for example a ride with the Mont-Blanc-Express to Chamonix or via the Gr. St. Bernhard-Pass to the Aosta Valley in Italy. The bathing lake ‚Les Iles' is only a ~20 minutes drive away.

Chalet Maria is a very nice place. We stayed there with 12, nice place, nice rooms, nice living, sauna. Close to the lifts to Verbier, good service on site from Alex from Agence Residence Swiss. I can recommend this Chalet. Tzoumaz as a village is of course not Verbier, but just with one lift you are in Verbier.
