Chalet Au Pied du Linga

Distance to ski area Portes du Soleil ~50 m. Charming and well-equipped chalet with private outdoor jacuzzi, fireplace and free WiFi, located in the heart of the Portes du Soleil ski area, just a few metres from the Linga Express chairlift and the slopes. The spacious chalet, with 250 m² of living space, is furnished in a traditional Alpine style – plenty of wood, high-quality furniture and lovely mountain details create a warm and inviting chalet atmosphere. With 7 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms, the chalet is ideal for larger groups or families.

On the ground floor, there are 4 bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom.
In the open-plan living and dining area on the first floor, you can enjoy cosy evenings in the pleasant sitting area with a wood-burning stove, TV and Bluetooth speaker. There is a separate, well-equipped kitchen. The dining area seats 15 people. Separate toilet. The outdoor jacuzzi on the spacious terrace is the perfect place to unwind after an active day outdoors.
On the second floor, there are 3 further bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom. Separate toilet on this floor.
Please note: The maximum number of persons allowed is 15, although the sleeping capacity is higher.

Location on the outskirts of the lively ski village Châtel, which is connected via the Pas de Morgins with Morgins in the Swiss Valais. The new 6pers. high speed chairlift Linga Express is about 100 m away, and the slopes are about 50 m. There are several sports shops in the direct vicinity of the chalet – the nearest one is ~50 m away, right by the lift. There are also 4 to 5 restaurants, which are about a 5 to 10-minute walk from the chalet. 
The vivid village centre of Châtel is about 2.4 km away. Here are numerous stores, restaurants, après-ski pubs, 2 ice skating rinks and a new adventure pool; childcare from 2 years. Free local bus.

Ski Info
Altitude of the chalet: ~1.150 m, 650 km of ski slopes, 211 lifts and cable cars. Swiss-French ski arena Les Portes du Soleil – altitude up to 2,400 m – with attractive and varied slopes for beginners and connoisseurs as well as experts. A new feature is the uninterrupted ski connection between the two sides of the valley, Super-Châtel and Linga, with connections to the neighbouring resorts and the various ski circuits: a perfect ski area. Wonderful powder snow routes, e.g. to Grand Paradis (ski instructor/mountain guide recommended; at your own risk). Wide, family-friendly slopes around Les Lindarets. Snowboarders enjoy the Smooth Park, Boardercross or the FFS-Halfpipe. In Châtel are a lot of other options for winter activities: e.g., snowshoe trails, ice diving and ice skating.
