Distance to ski area Portes du Soleil ~250 m. Chalet Châtel CLR01 is a spacious, charming and comfortable chalet with infrared sauna for 6 people, fireplace and free WiFi.
Due to its spacious rooms and luxurious furnishing, it offers a special quality. There is a cosy sofa near the open fireplace. You can easily reach the ski area Portes du Soleil; in about 250 m distance there is the chair lift Barbossine to Torgon and Morgins in Switzerland.
The chalet is located on a slight hillside on the outskirts of the lively ski resort Châtel and is surrounded by meadows.
The lively centre of the village (shops, restaurants, pubs, new aquatic centre [wellness and fitness areas], ice-skating place and rides with horse-drawn sleighs) is about 1,5 km away.
Nursery for kids from 2 years on. Free shuttle bus to the centre about 200 m away, cross-country ski trail about 600 m away.
The maximum capacity of the chalet is 15 people, even though there are more sleeping places available. A separate part of the chalet on the ground floor - studio with separate entrance - is not available for the tenant.

650 slopes, 211 ski-lifts. Altitude of the Chalet 1,250m. Châtel is located in the heart of the Franco-Swiss ski domain called Portes du Soleil – altitude up to 2,400 m – that offers attractive slopes around Avoriaz, Les Lindarets and Les Crosets / Switzerland. New ski link in Châtel between Linga and Super-Châtel via two chairlifts and slopes. Châtel-Linga is an ideal starting point to enter the ski area. This ski area has ski slopes for everybody (beginners as well as advanced skiers). Snowboarders enjoy the Smooth Park, Boardercross or the FFS-Halfpipe. In Châtel are a lot of other options for winter activities: e.g. snowshoes trails, ice diving and ice skating.
