Chalet Charmant

Distance to ski area Portes du Soleil ~100 m. Cosy, traditional mountain chalet with sauna and free WiFi in an ideal location, about 100 m away from the Linga cable car and several slopes. The chalet is spread on three floors and is lovingly furnished. All seven bedrooms with en-suite bathroom. After an eventful day of skiing, you can relax in the sauna or in the recreation room with table football.
On the ground floor is the spacious entrance area with a small bar. The living/dining area invites you to relax at the sofa corner with armchairs and TV. The dining area can comfortably seat 20 people at a large table and other smaller tables. Access to the large terrace with garden furniture and outdoor barbecue. The separate, professional kitchen is very well-equipped and offers plenty of space to feed a large group. Among other things, there is a pantry and an 800 l freezer. Additionally on this floor is a double room (barrier-free) with en-suite bathroom.

On the base floor there is a sauna for approx. 2 people with a relaxation area and shower (for a fee, advance booking required), as well as a lounge with table football and sofas. 2 separate WCs. There is also a heated ski room, as well as a bicycle/storage room. Parking spaces are available at the chalet.
There is another small flat upstairs in the chalet, which is not accessible for the tenant. There is a common main entrance door, but then the chalet has a separate entrance door and its own stairs.

The chalet is located only about 100 m from the Linga lifts, from where you can start skiing in the direction of Morzine-Avoriaz and the Swiss Les Crosets; in addition, the new connection to Super-Châtel is also very easily accessible. There are various restaurants, small stores and sports shops with ski rental located close to the chalet. Distance to the vibrant village center of Châtel (shops, après-ski bars, discotheque, two skating rinks, new water park, horse-drawn carriage rides) ~ 2 km. Child care from two years. Free local bus approx. 100 m away.

Altitude of the chalet: ~1.250 m. 650 km of ski slopes, 211 lifts and cable cars. Swiss-French ski arena Les Portes du Soleil up to 2,400 m. New: Ski connection on both sides of the valley Super-Châtel and Linga. Great, extensive ski resort, located between Lake Geneva and Mont Blanc, with attractive slopes in the mostly tree-free alpine areas around Avoriaz, Les Lindarets and Les Crosets / Switzerland. The black piste Swiss Wall / Chavanette is considered one of the biggest challenges for skiers in the Alps. Gorgeous powder routes, e.g. to Grand Paradis (ski instructor / mountain guide recommended, at your own risk). Wide, family-friendly leisure pistes around Les Lindarets. Châtel-Linga is the perfect starting point for exploring the entire area. Slopes of all difficulty levels lead back to the chalet. Snowboarders appreciate the Smooth Park, Boardercross or the FFS Halfpipe. In Châtel designated snowshoe trails, trial ice diving, ice rink Lac de Vonnes. Châtel is the easiest ski resort in the French Alps to reach from Germany and Switzerland.
