A charming and comfortable chalet in the world’s largest ski resort: this lovingly modernised stone chalet, dating from 1882, combines authentic Savoyard style with contemporary comfort – including a wood-burning stove, underfloor heating and free Wi-Fi. It is a spacious chalet spread over three floors, with seven bedrooms and four bathrooms – ideal for up to 15 people.
On the ground floor, featuring the original vaulted ceiling, there is a very spacious room with two single beds and Sat-TV. From there access to another bedroom with two single beds. Bathroom with shower and toilet.
An external staircase leads up to the 1st floor. Here you will find the bright and spacious living/dining room, with cosy seating by the wood-burning stove. The large dining table comfortably seats 15 people. The kitchen area is fully equipped. There is a south-facing balcony offering spectacular views of the mountains in the Belleville Valley. This floor also features a bedroom with double bed, as well as a bathroom with shower and a separate toilet.
On the 2nd floor, there are four further bedrooms: two triple rooms, one bedroom with a double bed and one bedroom with two single beds. There is also a separate toilet and two bathrooms, one with a bathtub and one with a shower. The high ceilings create an open, inviting atmosphere; the exposed beams emphasise the traditional character of the space.
Ground-floor ski room with electric ski boot dryers.
This chalet is situated in the tranquil mountain village of Les Menuires-Praranger. The free ski bus takes you to the centre of Les Menuires is just a few minutes. In Les Menuires, you will find covered shopping arcades, a wide variety of restaurants and cafés, clubs, a supermarket, and a modern multi-sports centre featuring an indoor swimming pool and sauna, an ice rink, a ski school and childcare facilities. The Belleville Valley cross-country ski trail is approximately 900 m from the chalet.
Please note: The maximum number of persons allowed is 15, although the sleeping capacity is higher.

Nice Chalet with everything you need! we had a lot of fun and normally we'll return.
The chalet is quite spacious (it actually seemed even bigger than in the photos). Having a garage is very handy for skis and boots. Everything was in good condition. Booking via Alpenchalet was easy. Booking ski passes via AlpenChalet was also very efficient.
It is a bit of a shame, however, that the deposit, tax and cleaning fee cannot be paid via AlpenChalet and must be handed over in cash to the owner. This is rather unusual. Furthermore, you do not receive a receipt after paying the deposit, which is again rather unusual.
The dishwasher didn’t clean the dishes properly at all, so it was necessary to rinse them again, even simple coffee cups. Some kitchen utensils were dirty when we arrived.

*Comment of the lessor*
Dear guests, thank you for your good star rating. From winter 2026-2027, there will be a new local management for the chalet. The deposit and visitor’s tax will be paid via a payment link before arrival, so no cash payment will be needed for these costs on site. Final cleaning is currently included in the price; the latest details can be found in the chalet description. We have also forwarded your comment to our local partners for review and any necessary improvements.
Thank you once again for taking the time to give us your feedback. We are pleased that you appreciated the overall condition of the chalet and the service provided by Alpenchalets. Kind regards, Your hosts
