Grand Massif | Savoie Mont Blanc | France
Morillon is a small village in the upper savoy region at the northern foot of the ski resort Le Grand Massif. Its romantic flair and beautiful architecture remained preserved until today. The Saint-Christophe Church which was built in the 16th century is probably the most outstanding piece of architecture here. Despite the cozy atmosphere Morillon is just 15 minutes from the next highway.
Winter-Information ski & freeride
Morillon is part of the Grand Massif ski resort which is one of the ten largest resorts in Europe. This guarantees a variety of slopes for families and experts as well. Kids can find likeminded friends in the ski school or can explore on their own one of eleven different fun parks and kids attractions along the slopes. The altitude reaches up to 2.500 m which guarantees snow reliability and beautiful panorama descents in viewing distance of the Mount Blanc. One of the highlights is the Cascade slope which offers 14 km of skiing and a nice restaurant next to a mountain lake.
Toboggan and other winter activities
In Morillon there are two different toboggan runs for every age. Sledges are up for rent at the village. Besides that there are guided snowshoe hikes which reach altitudes of 3.100 m. Alternatively tourists can book horse or dog sleigh trips.
