Chalet Matterhorn

Distance to ski area 4 Vallées ~900 m. Outstanding, high-end luxury Chalet, located on the mountainside of the ski resort Les Collons. Chalet Matterhorn combines modern interior design with traditional elements – materials such as wood and natural stone create a cosy and homely atmosphere. Premium quality furnished and built to high environmental standards (heat supply partly by a geothermal energy system). Stunning panoramic views of the Matterhorn, as well as the Bernese and Valaisan Alps due to its large panorama windows. Access to the big terraces (south and north) from the dining and living area.

All five bedrooms are located on the first floor and have an 'en-suite' bathroom. Two rooms provide a television and one room a Swedish oven.
Top floor: Modern and well-equipped kitchen with counter, exclusive "Gaggenau"-equipement and Nespresso machine. Bright and very spacious living area with fireplace and two seating areas.
On the ground floor, you will find the spa area with lounge, sauna, shower, WC and private outdoor jacuzzi (free of charge). There is another room with writing desk and seat, a wine cellar with exceptional wines, Champagne and high quality liquors (not included in the rental tariff), as well as the ski room; direct access from the double garage.

Distance to the alpine ski slope Les Collons - Les Masses, part of the ski area of 4 Valleys - Verbier: ~900 m (no parking possible), chairlift Les Masses with huge parking garage ~1,500 m. Ski bus stop ~250 m. The resort center of Les Masses features a small supermarket and a restaurant; more shops, restaurants, a bank, post office, ski rental and ski school are in Les Collons, ~2 km. Indoor swimming pool and kindergarten (from 18 months on) in Thyon 2000, ~6 km.

Chalet altitude ~1,600 m; top of the ski area 3,330 m (Glacier Mont Fort); 410 km ski slopes, 95 ski lifts, the biggest Swiss ski area. Distance to the ski slopes and lifts from Les Masses and Les Collons ~1.5 / ~1.8 km, both are part of the ski area of 4 Vallées - Verbier. New high speed chair lift Les Masses - Les Collons with parking deck at the base station. Huge snowparc 'Centralpark' at Thyon. Free open air ice rink in Les Collons. 12 km Nordic slopes.

Summer info
There is garden furniture, a parasol and a Weber-grill available at the chalet. Summer guests in Les Collons can expect a wide range of activities. It is part of a vast hiking area, and there are several mountain bike routes. You can walk with no great differences in altitude along the "Suonen" (historic irrigation channels). You can also go horse riding, climbing, paragliding or bowling. The Valais’ capital Sion is worth to go shopping and sightseeing. More sights in the surroundings: underground lake St-Léonard, the Grande Dixence dam and lake – at 285 metres the highest dam in the world.
