Leogang near Saalfelden is an up-and-coming holiday resort in the province of Salzburg. The friendly resort has significantly upgraded its access to the Leogang Saalbach-Hinterglemm Fieberbrunn ski area with the comfortable Steinbergbahn. The town of Leogang has approx. 3,000 inhabitants. It is surrounded by the Leogang Steinberge and the Kitzbühel Alps. Saalfelden also offers Nordic skiers a good opportunity on 150 km of trails. The offer is completed by toboggan runs on the Biberg and the Asitz, ice skating on the Ritzensee and romantic horse-drawn sleigh rides.
