If you would like to spend your skiing holiday in a small authentic mountain hamlet and at the same time in the largest connected ski resort in the world, then Le Bettaix is the right place for you. Located below the modern ski resort Les Ménuires, many chalets have emerged in sophisticated style in this wonderful city in recent years, including Chalet du Berger.
Lovingly restored and decorated in the typical local style with lots of wood and furnished, one can find here 140m² living space and 3 floors for up to 12 people. The accommodation provides lots of comfort with fireplace (firewood included), comfortable seating, flat screen TV, dining area and open kitchen. On the other hand, the in-house infrared sauna of the chalet. As many bathrooms as bedrooms also guarantee a pleasant stay and the 3 balconies of the house invite you to long sunbathing.
The accommodation also has 2 private parking spaces. Both the lift to the ski area, and the end of the downhill run are located just 350 m from the accommodation. The cross-country ski trail of the Belleville Valley is ~350 m away.

Après-ski pub, ski rental and mini supermarket with bakery nearby. The centre of Les Ménuires is reachable by car in approx. 10 minutes (~5 km), where you will find shopping malls, restaurants, supermarket, café, leisure-center with swimming pool, ski-school, toboggan runs, childcare.

Tip: For larger groups of up to 26 people, it is also possible to rent the adjoining Mil'ans Chalet, which can accommodate up to 14 people and connects directly to the Chalet du Berger.

Chalet altitude ~1,600 m; top of the ski slopes 3,230 m; 600 km of alpine slopes, 172 ski lifts; several ski lifts at 3,000 m, like at the glacier Peclet-Polset or the famous Cime de Caron. The chalet is based about 350 m from the fast 4-seater-chairlift, that takes you straight into the heart of the largest linked ski domain in the world. From the top of this lift, you can ski down to Les Menuires Centre on an easy slope to the meeting points of several ski schools. Thanks to this ski link, Le Bettaix is the perfect place to discover the slopes of Meribel, Courchevel and Val Thorens, too. Skiing from approx. end of November until the beginning of May possible in the Val Thorens sector. The first ski lift of Val Thorens is accessible by car in about 10 minutes.
