3 Vallees | Savoie Mont Blanc | France
La Tania was rebuilt in 1992 for the Winter Olympics and benefits from its ideal location between the renowned ski resorts of Courchevel and Meribel. With a direct gondola connection to the Trois Vallees, the entire ski area can be explored quickly and easily from here and the runs down to La Tania are a little insider tip at the end of the day. The north-facing slope and numerous snow cannons guarantee ideal snow conditions and perfectly groomed pistes until well into April. The car-free village itself is situated on a sunny high plateau, surrounded by pine forests, with fantastic views of the imposing mountain scenery. Residences and hotels in the village centre skilfully combine modern and traditional architecture and several dozen newly built luxury wooden chalets give La Tania a special flair. The small ski resort impresses with its charm and family atmosphere, surrounded by breathtaking nature.
